I was born in Ukraine and am perpetually grateful for my parents' courage to leave the Soviet Union and bring me to the land of opportunity as an infant. Starting with $8K in savings in 2007, at the start of the Great Recession, I have since acquired and stabilized over $110M and 550,000 SF of real estate across 18 years.

From 2007 to 2022, I invested in multifamily, urban condo development, and historic hospitality redevelopment. Since 2021, I have focused on value-add flex industrial, small-bay warehouse, and neighborhood retail across the Midwest and East Coast, the core of what Good Harbor does today.
During a brief distraction with tech startups, I co-founded Socrative (acquired by Instructure) and Fortified Bicycle (acquired by 365 Holdings). Educated far beyond my intellect, I hold a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering & Photonics from Boston University and an MBA from MIT Sloan, and guest lecture at both schools. My writing on entrepreneurship has appeared in Inc. Magazine and The Boston Globe.
